Asset Reconciliation

Asset discovery and reconciliation is a significant operational challenge for a company or medium to large size companies. How many devices are connected to the company network, how many user accounts are showing activities by applications are critical information to explore the white spaces within the scope of SOC teams. It involves identifying the application an asset belongs to or the application owner or finding errors in asset allocation in CMDB (configuration management database), often not actively maintained. Asset discovery may not be the ultimate objective of Avalanchio solution, but certainly, such information could be required for a compliance reason. Asset discovery is executed based on the event data that come to the platform. It does not perform enumeration within the network.
